Pitch Plot Over-view

My media partner and I thought of exploring psychological horror as the genre for this film, as a popular sub-genre of horror it touches on the mental, psychological and emotional state that the characters go through as opposed to traditional horror. It unsettles and disturbes the audience often using inspirations from real-life situations as a way to relate the audience ,which according to many, makes psychological horror scarier than traditional horror.

The main character Zara who is an arrogant stubborn girl always gets what she wants. No matter what means she uses to get it. When she doesn’t get hired into her dream job; she decides to destroy the lives of innocent people by the aid of  evil spirits. One should always remember this phrase whenever he thinks of doing wrong to others. "What you sow, is what you reap", however she decides to ignore the fact that karma always takes over. She communicates to evil spirits through an ouija board and tells them to harm those people who came in the way of her success. She goes to extreme lengths to destroy them.

When Zara picks up the phone from Retro works, she realises her colleagues from her pervious job have ruined everything. She curses them, goes to her basement and calls the spirits from her oujia board. Her mom stops her from doing this but she doesnt listen to her.

6 months later, she suffers from her own making hell. She is being tortured from demonic possessions and fears for her life. She thinks shes going crazy and later she finally repents and understands sometimes people have to repent in this world before going to the hereafter. Her sins are so many that she has to face all of them for the rest of her life.
